It was a sad weekend for our industry as we learned
of the death of our old friend and mentor Jim Rohn.
Jim was referred to as the world’s foremost business
philosopher because his wisdom was so profound, yet
so incredibly SIMPLE.
He was the son of a simple farmer which is probably
why he so valued the lessons in the seasons of life.
Jim also believed in Miracles.
Actually, Jim believed that everyone has
a part to play in every Miracle.
He would tell this story of “The Garden”.
One fine day a young man was walking past a garden.
It was ill attended and overgrown with weeds.
The young man undertook the care of the garden
and over time as he tended it, it grew and flourished.
One day, a passerby saw the garden and commented…
What a beautiful garden God has created.
The young man, a little puzzled and dis-jointed by
the remark, thought…
Yes, indeed, if not for God’s Miracle of the seeds,
the sun and the rain, the garden would not grow.
However, the young man pointed out…
You should have seen this place when God was taking
care of it by himself :-)
Jim’s humor was his hallmark, second only to his
profound storytelling.
His message was quite SIMPLE.
Miracles are a Team Sport.
They are NOT accomplished alone.
There is a part for YOU in every Miracle.
Jim is gone, but I think God is Smiling.
Jim took what God gave him and he created Miracles
all over the world.
RIP Jim, your BEST work is just beginning.
We Love YOU for being Our Miracle.
